My time at Varsity College Sandton was a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. My first year coincided with the pandemic, which forced us into online learning. This made it challenging to connect with peers and make new friends.
However, upon returning to face-to-face classes, I struggled to engage with many classmates until my lecturer, Diana Robertson, noticed and made an extraordinary effort to include me. Thanks to her, I formed meaningful friendships with some incredible people in my class.
I'll always cherish her kindness and support, along with that of every lecturer who guided us throughout our four years. They were not just teachers but also mentors and life coaches as we navigated the transition into the real world. I'm deeply grateful for each of them, and I know my fellow graduates would definitely feel and say the same.
