Reflecting on the legal pro bono programme organised by our school brings back some of my fondest memories. From the meaningful connections made with clients to the sense of purpose in serving those in need, it was a truly rewarding experience that I'll always cherish. One of the most cherished aspects of the program was the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Each client brought forth a unique story, a set of challenges, and a need for legal assistance. Engaging with them on a personal level, listening to their narratives, and working together to navigate the complexities of the legal system created a bond that transcended mere professional interaction. These relationships were built on empathy, trust, and a shared commitment to justice, leaving a lasting impression on myself.Collaborating with fellow students, faculty mentors (Ms Yeshika Chetty, my supervisor) and legal professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment enhanced the learning experience in numerous ways.
