I fondly remember winning the Bachelor of Arts scholarship, being on my way to achieving my dream of attending university and achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree. Going through this challenging course together with my twin sister, Sade, was an amazing experience! Being a very independent person, I appreciated the opportunity to push myself academically. With the support of my awesome lecturers including Timothy Obaje, Serusha Sanjeevy, Kate Wilkinson and Warwick Jones, I used every resource I could to delve into my passion for research, further my knowledge and improve my writing skills. I also seized several chances for debate. I hope they will miss my long essays! I made good friends with Adelaide and Sam from CRC as well as Brenda Kelly whose patience with my extensive reference lists I will never forget. The events, including movie night, the funky socks competition, Battle of the DJs, the slippery slide and Heritage Day, were a lot of fun! I must acknowledge the tireless support of my family, including my beloved cat, Maxine. Without them, I would not have achieved the title of Top Achiever two years in a row. Here’s to a third! I will miss Stevie, the campus cat.
